Although COVID-19 is still ongoing and the future situation is unclear, we have decided to hold the 3rd Tokyo International Deaf Film Festival in early December of this year.

Arts and culture around the world currently faces a difficult situation.  For the sake of creators and the visitors to the film festival, we are continuing to hold the film festival this year to help stimulate and encourage the film industry as much as possible.

 

We will do our best to prevent the spread of infection at the venue during the event.  However, depending on the COVID-19 situation in Japan, there may be changes made as to whether or not the event is held, or contents of the event.  We ask for your understanding in this matter.

 

The film entry for the 3rd Tokyo International Deaf Film Festival is open from today, June 1.

At the Tokyo International Deaf Film Festival, we are looking for film works which propose novel approaches and provoke new questions and ideas.  We are looking forward to receiving your application and submission of a film made with your unique character and visual perspective.
